Guest Jeff Posted June 8, 2021 Report Posted June 8, 2021 Really need some help with this. A contract I am working on has a 90,000 litre diesel tank and a static LPG storage tank constructed within 5 meters of each other. Furthermore, the two storage tanks are less than 15meters from a 890 room hotel & mixed use development. Even though these tanks are outside the building, there are ZERO leak detection systems, Zero fire suppression systems (apart from a small fire extinguisher) or structures to contain a blast or fire. I am fighting with a consultant to change this but they have been instructed to "save money". Can someone please help me with some fire codes, British Standards etc. I'm not a fire safety expert by any means but even i know this is wrong. Thanks in advance Quote
