Ian Watts Posted April 29, 2021 Report Posted April 29, 2021 (edited) As a member if BS 5266 I find it hard to explain why strict compliance to BS 5266 would not be appropriate. In this context my thought is that while remote illuminance of stickers is acceptable the actual verification of mains healthy at 100 lux on the sign and 5 lux in an emergency is hard to be confident with when most retail emergency lighting sources are not actually 3rd party approved / performance verified. Tom Sutton Posted May 3, 2021 Report Posted May 3, 2021 Ian are you answering a question if so what is the question or making a rhetorical statement that most retail emergency lighting sources are not actually 3rd party approved. Quote
