Guest Dinesh Posted January 6, 2012 Report Posted January 6, 2012 We have a large site with multiple buildings, all our escape signage is the ECC Euro sign standard. Is there a date that these signs have to be changed to the new ISO standard by law Quote
Tom Sutton Posted January 6, 2012 Report Posted January 6, 2012 There is no date at this moment, just soon and they have been saying that for some time. First Europe has to accept ISO 7010 and then amend (EC/92/58). Then the UK has to implement the directive and amended the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations. Check out http://www.firesafe....ire-exit-signs/ for more detailed information. Quote
Safelincs Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 Hi Dinesh I believe there is a general agreement that within a building the emergency lights and exit signs should all follow the same standard, independent from which standard it is. Harry Quote
