Guest Ickle1999 Posted January 9, 2020 Report Posted January 9, 2020 I have a Deta 1121 Mains Operated Fixed Carbon Monoxide Alarm which has just started beeping 3 times. I have checked the manual and this is because it is at the end of life. The alarm was in a new build house so I have no idea who installed it therefore, I have no idea who should I contact in order to replace the unit. is this the sort of thing that I should contact a standard electrician about? thanks ickle Quote
Tom Sutton Posted January 10, 2020 Report Posted January 10, 2020 Was it working satisfactory when you took over the premises if it was then it is your responsibility and you need to replace it. You need to purchase a new mains operated one and have it fitted by an electrician, or get a battery operated one and fix it yourself.
