Guest RickySh Posted February 24, 2018 Report Posted February 24, 2018 Hello, For a LD2 Gade D 2 storey domestic building, is there any regulations that requires the fire alarm to create a fault sound if a detector is removed from it's base? If so could you please point me to this regulation? Many thanks! Quote
Tom Sutton Posted February 24, 2018 Report Posted February 24, 2018 Not to my knowledge, the head of household or households if it is flats, should be aware if smoke alarms are missing or defective. Quote
AnthonyB Posted February 24, 2018 Report Posted February 24, 2018 No as the system is too basic to accommodate such a function - you usually only get a head removal fault on commercial premises fire alarm system equipment (as is used where Grade A residential fire alarms are required) Quote
