Guest eastlothian Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 I have recently purchased a bungalow (in Scotland) with an attached garage that as it stands isn't integral. The problem is that garage sits considerably lower than the bungalow itself, so the height for any potential door is reduced to around 130cm. My question is - is it still possible to put a fire door in to make the garageintegral and still meet building requirements? Obviously I would probably have to get a custom door made. Or is it the case that there is a minimum height requirement for fire doors? Any answers are very much appreciated! Quote
Tom Sutton Posted February 24, 2018 Report Posted February 24, 2018 I am afraid I am a sassinak and Scotland has its own building regulation, which I am not up to speed with, hopefully somebody who is, may respond. Quote
Guest Keith Posted October 30 Report Posted October 30 Hi, is there a minimum English fire door height? I'm looking to put angled fire doors in my loft and am tight on space! Also, is 765mm width ok to put at the top of the loft stairs? I've read a few different variants of door width. 770mm is used a lot, but most doors are 765mm standard?? Thanks, Keith Quote
