Robert steel Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 Hi A residential block of flats which has connected halls and is ground to sixth floor. If riser cupboards on a communal hall/ exit routes has large Breaches on the floor and ceiling from grd to sixth, but has FD30s fitted also an AOV within the hall ways and a fire dectection system installed, is it recommended that all breaches are suitable sealed up or left as it is??? Tom Sutton Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 There seems to be plenty of compensatory factors if a fire was to break out of the riser and as a result the means of escape should not be compromised but ideally the breaches should be suitable sealed up. Quote
Robert steel Posted January 16, 2017 Author Report Posted January 16, 2017 Many thanks for this info, is there any documented regulation that I can read up on reference this?? Quote
