Safelincs Posted November 13, 2016 Report Posted November 13, 2016 Hi Jerry I am afraid the Ei150 series (TL and TLH etc) has just been discontinued. You can replace as follows, though: Ei151 replace with Ei161 Easichange model Ei154 replace with Ei164 Easichange model Ei156 replace with Ei166 Easichange model You will need to change the plug at the end of the cable as well as the base plate. The wiring itself can remain and the new units will work with any remaining Ei150 series alarms. These kits come with a masking plate to cover ceiling blemishes from the old rectangular Ei150 alarm. I hope this helps Harry Quote
Guest Heather Posted February 10, 2020 Report Posted February 10, 2020 Hi, i have the Ei 150 that is randomly and quite regularly beeping. I presume it needs replacing. It’s a mains detector. What can I replace it with for the same fitting please? Quote
Safelincs Posted February 11, 2020 Report Posted February 11, 2020 Hi Heather, sadly, there are no more Ei alarms being produced with the same base plate. You will need to upgrade with this replacement kit, using the same wiring plus a plate that covers the unsighly mark left by the old alarm. Harry Quote
Guest My EI 150 Posted June 14, 2021 Report Posted June 14, 2021 My EI150 has just come to the end of its life, what model replaces it and does it have the same plug in fitting Quote
green-foam Posted June 17, 2021 Report Posted June 17, 2021 The recommended replacement for the Ei150 smoke alarm can be found if you Click Here The base will have to be changed (It has no plug, as the connections are made to the base plate) Quote
