Carbon monoxide from boiler

Morning everyone I'm Amanda from England Iv got up this morning put the boiler on and it's triggered off the carbon monoxide monitor I switched the boiler off after a few seconds it went off could this be some gas that maybe was struggling to escape I'm puzzeld Iv tried it again and it's fine now if you could advise me please as I live on my own with my dog many thanks xx

Hi Amanda

There is really just one thing you can do, and that is to get a Gas Safe certified plumber/fitter out to check your boiler. In the meantime it would be advisable to leave the boiler off.
