Guest Louise Posted October 12, 2016 Report Posted October 12, 2016 Hi, I am looking for some advice as I do not know a lot about fire alarms. My cat was recently diagnosed with asthma however I still have a feeling someone in the house is still smoking their ecigarette in the room with her even after being warned of the dangers by the vet. I was wondering if you have any recommendations for a sensitive alarm that will respond to the vapour being smoked in one particular room? I hear and ionized alarm would be best? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Quote
Safelincs Posted October 12, 2016 Report Posted October 12, 2016 Hi Louise, you can get specific cigarette smoke alarms. Some are so sensitive that they can even detect cigarette smoke traces in the breath of people after the cigarette is extinguished. Harry Quote
