I lost my pet last week when I went out for shopping and now I am planning to get this hidden surveillance camera and smoke detectors installed in my house. Is it also necessary to install carbon monoxide along with smoke detectors?

Hi Harry,

Is there in the market any other smoke/CO alarm competing with Nest on connection? By connection I mean the capability to be monitored or controlled via mobile device or PC. Do the RF interlinked have the capability to be controlled via mobile?

Thank you

Hi Antonio, we used to sell Firetext alarms which sent a signal to your mobile. However, these were discontinued quite a while ago. I am aware of one or two other makes, but don't know enough about them to help. Normal RF alarms only 'talk to each other' rather than with your mobile.
