Guest Guest Zoe Whitfield Posted May 28, 2020 Report Posted May 28, 2020 Our ST-620-FR model is 2 years old. It’s driving us mad! Winter it beeps as we have the radiator on & summer when it’s hot outside! It’s far too sensitive! Quote
green-foam Posted May 28, 2020 Report Posted May 28, 2020 Same question, make and model of detector please. (Also what is make and model of one on landing) Quote
Guest Zoe Whitfield Posted June 3, 2020 Report Posted June 3, 2020 Green-foam. Both alarms are Angel ST-620-FR, same make, both 2 years old. Bought at same time following house renovations. Quote
green-foam Posted June 7, 2020 Report Posted June 7, 2020 You only mention one beeping. As you have to smoke alarms the same, what happens if you swap them over? Quote
Guest Zoe Whitfield Posted June 8, 2020 Report Posted June 8, 2020 Will give that a try & see if it helps! Quote
Guest Zoe Posted June 13, 2020 Report Posted June 13, 2020 Ours is beeping 3 times then break repeatedly..searched the house for smoke..nothing..have had to take it down as its 11pm and we have a 5 year old sleeping. Quote
Guest Maureen Posted September 8, 2020 Report Posted September 8, 2020 My st-620 constantly bleeping. They told me to take the top off to get the batch number. Three of us have tried but it won't come off we've turned it to unlock but still can't get it! Driving us insane.... any ideas? Quote
Safelincs Posted September 11, 2020 Report Posted September 11, 2020 Hi Maureen, the St620 has not been in production for a while and your smoke alarm is probably 10 years old by now, which means it needs replacing. There is a replacement smoke alarm for the St620 that fits the same base so you can just take the old alarm off and twist the new alarm on. Harry Quote
Guest TandJ Posted November 1, 2020 Report Posted November 1, 2020 Our fireangel alarm is continuously bleeping, it's loud and long, for 3 beeps then pause and repeat. Any advice? Quote
Guest Lapwing Posted August 24, 2022 Report Posted August 24, 2022 Posting incase this helps someone. Our smoke alarm was chirping every 40 seconds. I replaced the batteries, turned the power off etc etc and nothing was helping. I searched high and low for the source of the sound but couldn't find anything. I could hear the chirp in many different locations. Fast forward a few days and we have finally found an old unit inside the ceiling. It must have been left there from when the previous system was taken out 8 years ago. We had to pull up the carpet from the top floor, remove a floorboard and there it was!!! I actually thought we were never going to find the source of the beep so was ecstatically happy after months of hearing the little chirp. Quote
