Guest WilliamSilv Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 Hi, We are company of 30 staff operating over 2 floors with a mixture of office, warehouse and field based staff. We can easily evacuate but keeping an acurate register of people in the building is difficult. How important is the roll-call element for small premises? Quote
Tom Sutton Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 It is important, if a system can be devised but ensuring everybody is questioned at the assemble point should identify those that are missing so the officer in charge of the fire service can be informed of missing persons so he/she can conduct a search. AnthonyB Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 You should have a sufficient number of fire wardens to sweep the premises as they evacuate so that no one is left behind. Whilst roll calls can be a useful back up to this used alone they can be counter-productive as they can take too long and rely on the lists being accurate. Quote
