Can fire exit doors have vision panels?

What are the construction requirements for a Fire Exit door which opens to the outside.

Can it have vision Panels?

The fire exit door does not have any other requirement than to open easily and without the use of keys etc to the outside. It needs to be wide enough to match the number of users and usually, it will have a panic bar or similar, for more info see http://www.safelincs.co.uk/fire-exit-help-and-information/

It does not have to be a fire resistant door! Hence you can have vision panels etc.

Thanks, Tom, for pointing this out. Somebody in responsibility exchanged the location of all the relevant (and free) government guides without creating a forwarding rule. When people now search for the fire risk assessment guides in google, they cannot easily find the free guides but are fed links to sellers of those chargeable guides!
