Guest ASharp Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 please advise me of the miimum width of a fire escape route door opening in a domestic dwelling. Quote
Tom Sutton Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 I cannot find in Approved Document B Fire Safety Vol 1 any reference to width of escape routes but in Vol 2 it states for up to 60 persons the minimum width of escape route is 750mm. Check out http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/buildingregulations/approveddocuments/partb/bcapproveddocumentsb/ for more information. Quote

Tom Sutton Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 You could try BS 9999 and BS 9991 but I do not have copies so I am unable to any more information than that. http://shop.bsigroup...000000030158436 http://shop.bsigroup...000000030203948 Quote
