Guest TR123 Posted January 31 Report Posted January 31 Good evening, I live in a flat in a converted building, there are four flats in total over four storeys (basement, ground, first, second). The basement flat has its own independent access and the other three flats are accessed via a communal corridor and stairs. I have a smoke alarm in my flat, not sure about the others. There aren't any detectors in the stairwell or landing. We had a FRA completed which informed that our evacuation strategy was 'Stay Put', meaning that there isn't a requirement for detection in the communal space but did further advice that each flat have their own interlinked smoke and heat detectors. Is that right? Thanks Quote
