Guest CelesteT Posted October 15, 2012 Report Posted October 15, 2012 Hello! I run summer schools for foreign students and I just wanted to check with you the law / rules about when the firs drills should be completed after the groups arrival. Is it that the firs drill MUST be completed 36 hours after arrival? Currently I ensure that each group has a fire drill 24 hours after arrival - but it would help to know what the regulations actually are? Many thanks Quote
Tom Sutton Posted October 15, 2012 Report Posted October 15, 2012 You are subject to The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and article 21 Training require you to carry out fire safety training which includes fire drills. The relevant DCLG guidance is Educational premises and is all risk based assessment so you will not get definitive times it all depends on your situation. Quote
