Guest Matt Posted March 8, 2023 Report Posted March 8, 2023 Hello, I live in a 2 bed flat in a converted house (total 3 flats). All flats have certified fire door systems to protect the communal area as one flat is in the roof. I plan to rent my flat out and I am unsure of the fire regs governing the other doors in my flat (kitchen, lounge, bedrooms X2) . The kitchen does not have a door. It's noted that the flat is first floor and under 4.5m from the ground maybe around 3m and there is means of escape from both bedrooms onto flat roofs. Any advice on what I do / don't need to do with the internal doors would be welcome. Cheers Quote
Neil Ashdown MAFDI Posted March 10, 2023 Report Posted March 10, 2023 I would consult the document https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/fire-safety-in-purpose-built-blocks-of-flats for advice. Quote
