Hi all, in the case of a large site with multiple buildings, would every building require an individual fire risk assessment? I understand most occupied buildings would certainly require one but what about say a small GRP security kiosk, single unit portacabin or vacant/derelict buildings etc?

Every building needs one (even if empty or derelict, the legislation was drafted in such a way to ensure this) , however whether it needs a single report per building or one covering several is a point of much debate. It may be that larger distinct buildings on a site need separate reports, smaller groups of outbuildings can share one. There is no right or wrong answer.
