Should I leave fire doors open over night?

I have 4 safety fire doors in my property linked to sensor fire alarm. Is it safe to shut the doors over night or should they be left open?

Ideally, you should keep the fire doors closed at night. This increases your degree of protection and stops fire doors warping (if you have a door closer and door retainer at different heights).
