In warehouses what distance should stock be stored from sprinkler head?

I have never been involved closely with installation of sprinklers but the British Standard is BS EN 12845:2004+A2:2009 Fixed firefighting systems. Automatic sprinkler systems. Design, installation and maintenance.

According to NFPA 13, the sprinkler distance from top of storage to the sprinkler heads for traditional heads is 405 mm.

For ESFR heads, it is 0.9m

Be careful NFPA 13 is an American Code and there can be a variance between there codes and European standards.
